On Thursday October 23rd at 7:00p.m. at LPES, the School Community Council (SCC) will host the annual general meeting. The SCC supports the school in working towards the Provincial Education Plan and the specific actions and incentives that support LPES students.
The annual general meeting is when new SCC members can be elected. If you are interested in joining the LPES SCC, the school needs a completed copy of the nomination form and signed by the nominee. In order to be eligible to join the LPES SCC you must either:
- Be a parent or guardian of a student who is enrolled at LPES.
- Be an elector that resides within the LPES school attendance area.
The LPES SCC is composed of 5-9 representative members. Once the SCC is formed, the officer roles of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Secretary are then determined among voting members.
