Haig School Memories

Haig School opened in 1920, it was named after Earl Douglas Haig, Commander in Chief of the British Forces in France Belgium during World War I. There were 180 students from Primary to Grade 7. In 1966, the school changed to Grades 1-6 when the Weyburn Junior High opened.
