Haig School opened in 1920, it was named after Earl Douglas Haig, Commander in Chief of the British Forces in France Belgium during World War I. There were 180 students from Primary to Grade 7. In 1966, the school changed to Grades 1-6 when the Weyburn Junior High opened.

Queen Elizabeth School in Weyburn has been home to many memories since it opened in 1957. With 2021 being the last year QE is open before students transition to Legacy Park, these videos were created to help remember the physical building
