We hope everyone has had a wonderful and relaxing summer! As we get ready to welcome everyone back, we are looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with learning, connection, and many great moments together. We can’t wait to see our students and families and get the year off to a great start!
We are excited to welcome everyone to our Backpack Drop-Off and Open House
This will be an opportunity for students and families to come by the school, visit classrooms, and get ready for the new school year.
🎒 Backpack Drop-Off and Open House – Monday, August 31st anytime between 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Students in Grades 1–6 are welcome to bring their backpacks and school supplies to the Back-to-School Open House. Students can drop their belongings off in their new homeroom, get organized, find their designated space, and become familiar with their classroom before the first day. Please note: Kindergarten students – you will be receiving more information directly from your child’s teacher regarding a separate family meet/greet event.
Families are invited to drop in anytime between 4:30–6:00 p.m. There will be no formal presentations - we simply want to provide a relaxed opportunity for students and families to get settled and ready for the year ahead.
When you arrive on Monday:
- We will send out a school map showing the entrance your child will use throughout the year. Please enter through your child’s designated entrance, where students can put their outdoor shoes on the rack and find their designated spot.
- From there, please proceed to your child’s homeroom to meet their teacher and other school staff.
- Drop off school supplies and backpacks and get organized for the first day.
- Ask any questions you may have before the first day of school.
- When you are ready to leave, please exit through your child’s designated boot room/exit. From there, circle back around to the front of the school, where we will have a special treat for everyone to enjoy!
We look forward to seeing everyone and helping our students feel comfortable, confident, and ready for a great start to the school year! Our hope is that students leave thinking, “I know where I’m going, I know who my teacher is, and I’m excited to come back.”
