Principal's Message

Legacy Park Families,

 

We have had a wonderful Term 1 to date, here at Legacy Park Elementary School! Our days have been filled with engagement, learning, and a strong sense of community for all students and staff. We’ve also been fortunate to enjoy a number of warm fall days, giving students plenty of opportunity to make the most of their recess play outdoors.

 

You may have heard your children talking about our morning announcement routines. Each day at LPES, we focus on a daily theme to help students and staff set positive goals:

 

Mindful Mondays
Truth & Reconciliation Tuesdays
Wellness Wednesdays
Thankful Thursdays
Feel-Good Fridays

Each week, students and staff take on challenges connected to these themes, all aligning with our four big pillars at LPES: Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Kind.

 

A big thank-you goes out to all the parents and caregivers who joined us for our recent School Community Council (SCC) meeting. We truly appreciate your time, input, and commitment to supporting the continued growth of our school. Our SCC will continue to meet on the third Tuesday of each month. Please watch our website for updates or contact the school office if you’re interested in joining.

 

You will notice on the November calendar some important dates to take note off - we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming Student-Led Conferences—more information will be shared soon!
